The PSTN network will be gone in the UK by the end of 2025. This forces UK Group Livings to ensure a working alarm communication for their warden call system after this date.
To replace the existing alarm infrastructure with digital equipment to get around the switch-off problem may not be economically viable for most Group Livings.

Alarmbridge Connect ensures that analogue-based alarm communication is reliably delivered between the warden call system’s control unit and the alarm receiving center (ARC) platform over a protected Internet connection. This way, the dependency on the PSTN network is cut.
Below is a high-level illustration of how it works – more details are provided in our brochure. The Alarmbridge Connect replaces the old analogue connection with a small Gateway, converts the analogue alarm communication to a digital protocol for delivery to a digitally enabled ARC.
